When Pastor Chamie’s younger son was 11 years old, he was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. It meant the family had to learn a whole new normal. She knows from personal experience what it is like to have a child with a chronic disease. No matter what chronic disease or illness you as a mom might be tending, Pastor Chamie wants to help give you a little rest and encouragement. This is an opportunity to respond to Jesus' invitation to come find rest for your soul - and your body. All the food will be made for you. You can have alone time as well as time to lean on other moms. And all of us mamas will be prayer warriors together for each other and our children.

This writer’s retreat is for those who simply have a tug to write and, in particular, a tug to write so as to understand God and themselves better. Pastor Chamie majored in English Writing in college. She has found writing to be a beautiful way to explore the depths of the soul. This retreat isn’t about writing for publication, though you may be called to that. We will explore various forms of "spiritual" writing. Our time together is designed to give you space to find your own little corner to write as well as have time in community to share writing insights.

Clergy Sabbath Retreat

A day away to delight in God, in creation and in one another.  Too often clergy people don't stop and take the time to rest, turn off the technology, and do the things that make their heart sing.  This one-night retreat is for you!
